This documentary highlights the turbulent 60’s and 70’s when a culture of protest and activism in America was fierce. The film chronicles the life of the iconic young college professor, Angela Davis whose activism implicates her in a botched kidnapping attempt that ends with a shootout, four dead, and her name on the FBI's 10 most wanted list.
The film will be followed by a discussion with the director, focusing on how these events have resonated even now, and whether we have learned from history and regained or, moved further from a sense of political freedom and expression in America.
