The Roosevelt University Library has many books...some old, some new, and some electronic! When you search the RU Catalog for books, you might notice some books are listed as an Internet Resource. Those are e-books that can be read wholly online.
The library has a collection of nearly 2000 e-books that can be accessed by creating a free account at http://www.netlibrary.com. The only catch is that one must be on-campus to create the account, but then you’ll be able to access the account from home or anywhere else off campus. If you are on one of the university's computers, simply click the link that says Create a Free Account on the top right hand corner of NetLibrary and create an account; once you've done that, you can use the account to read any of Roosevelt's e-books wherever you have access to a computer and the internet. If you can't come on campus to create the account, call either the Auditorium or the Schaumburg campus library, and we will create an account for you over the phone.
